Hair lack-of-Care

The Hair Report

I haven’t caught up with Tuesday’s eps of anything yet, but there have already been quite a number of requests for pictures of Jane Elliot’s new hair style. So here, courtesy of Laurie, it is:

My initial judgment is not favourable, mainly because I loved her previous style, but I’ll reserve a final verdict until I see it in motion, so to speak.

While we're on hair-related issues, Elizabeth's fringe (non-Aussie translation: bangs) are bugging me. Don't know why, but since she got stuck in the hospital they're almost all I've been noticing, and not in a good way. I think that maybe it's the whiff of "cut by herself peering in the mirror over the bathroom sink" lingering about them.

Monday: The Capsule Caption Review

First, really good Days episode on Monday.

Beyond that, Martha Madison and Alison Sweeney have been practising being sisters in the mirror.

Also, the wardrobe and hair departments have obviously been conspiring with Sami’s matching ugly hair and scarf.

Speaking of the hair department, what’s with the sudden re-dorkening?

Though the pouty expression of “but I told the truth when I accidentally killed a skanky ho” was appropriate.

Kissing the re-dorked one is all well and good, but why does Chelsea have The Scream on her butt?

Best line: “…and he was involved in an organ transplant heist.” Because THAT was what pushed Lucas over the edge.

Liked Bev the DA, by the way. Also, both Marlena and especially Roman effectively telling Sami to shut it when it comes to complaining about Lucas was quite nice.

Really, good episode.

Finally, another example of the great Brady police tradition…

Drinking in uniform. What? Did you think I was going somewhere else with that one? Perhaps in the direction of Shawn explaining what went wrong in his marriage? But I’d never do that. Well, virtually never.
